BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you are among the people who truly believe that living in South Florida means driving places in a golf cart, head's up about a major recall. The consumer product safety commission just announced the recall of a multi-seat golf cart that is popular among people who just can't be bothered to walk.

The Advent Four and Six Passenger Golf Carts are being recalled due to a fall and injury hazard. According to the CPSC, "The golf cart's front seat can become loose due to missing rubber grommets, posing fall and injury hazards to operators and/or passengers.."

The Federal Government says anyone who owns — or uses — one of these golf carts should, "immediately stop using the recalled golf carts and contact the dealer where it was purchased to arrange for a free inspection and repair. Advanced EV is contacting all known purchasers directly."

Walking to the mailbox, to your neighbor's house, or the school bus stop remains an option for those affected by the golf cart recall.
