Trelleborg AB agreed to buy Minnesota Rubber & Plastics for $950 million to expand in the medical equipment and water management segments in North America.

The Swedish manufacturer is buying the US company, which makes polymer and thermoplastic components, on a cash and debt-free basis from a unit of investment firm KKR, it said Tuesday. It has secured the financing.
