Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components, welcomes four new employees.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components, welcomes four new employees in purchasing and IT.Bryan Bates has accepted a role as a category purchaser, and Karissa Cargo now works in project purchasing.Bates will lead, develop and execute sourcing strategy for the respective product category and work directly with the Trelleborg sales team and suppliers. Cargo's new role will involve managing projects within the purchasing department, while interfacing with various Trelleborg industry teams. Scott Christensen, purchasing manager for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, said, "Karissa will be an asset to Trelleborg, with her experience as a senior buyer and supplier lead for Allen County and Superior Essex, respectively. Bryan, having been with Trelleborg for five years, and specializing in O-Rings and molded components, will be taking on the role of Category Purchaser. His history creating value through strategic initiatives will prove valuable to our growing Global Supply Chain Management Logistics Center." Bates earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana University Fort Wayne. Cargo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, Fort Wayne.Trelleborg has also hired Karen Potts and Sharon Vicknesvaran as Junior IT project managers. They will define the scope of information systems projects, track progress and report on schedule adherence. These functions are essential to ensure that key strategic objectives are met and align with Trelleborg's growth strategy.Elizabeth Garr, senior IT project manager at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, said, "I am confident that Karen and Sharon will strengthen our team and help us to complete projects more efficiently. We need managers like them to make sure projects stay focused and promote company growth."Potts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Indiana Institute of Technology and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Vicknesvaran is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Indiana Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
