Rubber bonded Bushings consist of rubber sandwiched between concentric steel sleeves and we have a wide range of versions available providing unique characteristics to suit different applications. They can be fully bonded or semi bonded.Bushes provide smooth and predictable movement without the wear associated with solid metal bushes and require no lubrication.They offer vibration isolation and reduce road noise in automotive applications by absorbing impact.They allow a linkage freedom of movement and absorb deflection and load which would otherwise be transferred to mechanical components.A bush can absorb deflection without affecting alignment, allowing for vibration isolation whilst maintaining the steering geometry.
Rubber metal bonded bushings are a very common type of bushing where rubber and metal are bonded together to serve as vibration and noise suppressors. There are different forms of bonded rubber bushings with metal down the center of the bushing and rubber compressed on the interior and exterior by metal. bushing mounts, also known as bushings, bushes or center bonded bushings, are used in applications such as vehicle suspensions which absorb extreme static and dynamic forces while dampening shocks and vibrations. Because of its cylindrical shape, the bushing acts an anti vibration interface between two parts, usually metal objects, without prohibiting movement and increasing flexibility. Using a fully bonded rubber to metal design, the rubber compound is bonded to both the inner and outer sleeves. This design virtually eliminates high frequencies while supporting high loads in all directions.
